Natasha Septién Eliminated from Exatlón México, Blue Team Struggles

Natasha Septién has become the fifth contestant to leave Exatlón México 2026, marking another loss for the Blue Team. Septién, a newcomer to the reality show, earned her spot through the draft but faced elimination after a series of defeats for her team, which left several of its athletes vulnerable.

A Close Elimination Duel

The elimination round saw Septién face off against Zudikey Rodríguez, a veteran of the Red Team. Despite a strong effort, Septién’s lack of experience proved costly. Rodríguez emerged victorious, securing her place in the competition. The duel was one of the most intense and evenly matched so far, with Septién pushing Rodríguez to the limit after receiving a medal donation from teammate Katia Gallegos, which kept her in the fight.

Following her elimination, Septién expressed gratitude, saying, “Thanks to Zudi for giving it her all. I’m satisfied with everything I’ve done since day one. I knew I wanted to enjoy every moment, and that’s what happened. Best of luck to everyone.” She added, “Gracias a Zudi porque dio todo, me quedo satisfecha con todo lo que hice desde el día 1. Tenía muy claro disfrutar cada momento y eso pasó, mucho éxito, los quiero a todos.”

Team Changes and New Arrivals

The Blue Team welcomed Hugo Espinoza, a parkour specialist and first-time participant, as a new addition during Week 5. This came after the team lost Villa 360, a prized recovery space with amenities like rest areas and a covered space for recuperation, to the Red Team. The Red Team also celebrated victories for Jerry Lizárraga and Karol Rojas, who earned medals granting them an extra life in future elimination duels. These medals can be used strategically, either to save oneself or to be donated to a teammate. The competition continues with a mix of returning athletes and new reinforcements, intensifying the battle for survival in Exatlón México 2026.
